Howdie folks.

Use every bit of room underneath your sloped walls to create more attic storage space by stacking cabinets, book shelves and drawer units until all the space is utilized.

 

Songbird here with my first project of 2015. I created more storage space in the landing on my attic. Couldn’t be more timely…. Couldn’t be more welcome……

After the Christmas frenzy and the aftermath in my craft room that resulted in no floor space, no table space, stuff everywhere and no where to put anything I knew something had to be done.

Enter my Canadian friend Donna.

She was dealing with some after-Christmas chaos of her own, aptly named ” heaps of shame” and challenged herself and us to start the new year fresh, organized and with heaps of change.

I knew I had to get in on that action. Stat!

Today I am here to make good on a promise I made you. Remember back in January, when I was filled with good intentions and showed you the extra storage space I created for my attic craft room? Right. That part of the project is still going strong. But I also mentioned that I had carefully cropped out the outer side of that landing since it was a big old mess.

Well no longer. That bit of wall has been reclaimed and put to good use.

It is now my ironing station as part of the sewing room part of my attic.
